DAY 01
Pick up your rental vehicle upon arrival at Montréal's Dorval airport. After checking in to your hotel, the
day is yours to explore this fascinating city's blend of old and new. The buildings of Old Town Montréal
date from the 1700's, today housing boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Among the attractions in Old Town
is Pointé-a-Calliere, Museum of Archaeology and History (not included) - don't miss the underground
archaeological tour and multimedia show. Overnight in Montréal.

DAY 02
On your way to Tremblant, take a short detour to visit the Fur Trade at Lachine National Historic Site (included) -
interactive exhibits depicting life for the fur traders and voyageurs of the 18th century. There are many other
activities and points of interest in the Lachine area to visit before you continue on your short trip to Tremblant
(approximately 2.5 hours from Lachine). Overnight in Tremblant.

DAY 03
Today is all yours to explore the great outdoors at Mont Tremblant before you continue your journey!
You may wish try canoeing, white water rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, 4 X 4 touring, ATV touring,
biking, rock climbing, exploring a forest canopy, hiking, air & sea plane tours or any number of water sports.
Or you may wish to just wander around the many shops and sample the great cuisine. Later today, depart Tremblant
bound for Trois-RiviŠres. En route, visit Fort Lennox National Historic Site (included), an authentic
reconstruction of a British fortification. Next on your journey is Fort Chambly National Historic Site (included)
a stone fort built by the French in 1711 and restored in 1983. Overnight in Trois-Rivieres.

DAY 04
This morning, visit Forges du Saint-Maurice National Historic Site in Trois-Rivieres (included),
birthplace of Canada's steel industry. Next, continue northward to La Maurice National Park, a hiker's
paradise. Continue onto your destination of Pointé-Au-Pic, following the St. Lawrence River. This historic
waterway will take you into the scenic Québec countryside that present many photo opportunities.
Overnight in La Malbaie/Pointé-Au-Pic.

DAY 05
Spend a half day whale watching on the St. Lawrence River and the rest of your day is free to explore
on your own. Overnight in La Malbaie/Pointé-Au-Pic.

DAY 06
Today you will turn back to Québec City. Founded in 1606 and North America's only European-style
"walled" city, there are a number of excellent national historic sites within the city, each presenting
a glimpse of Canada's past. Visit the Fortifications of Québec National Historic Site (included).
Modern-day Québec City is terrific, too - sidewalk cafes, artists and entertainers, shopping, galleries,
all brimming with French passion and joie de vivre. Visit the Citadel - Musee du Royal 22nd Regiment
(included). Overnight in Québec City.

DAY 07
Your holiday concludes today with check out at your hotel and the return of your rental vehicle.
For added convenience, two options are available to complete your tour. Either return to Québec
City and turn in your rental vehicle there (no drop charge will apply to either location);
or return to Montréal and drop your vehicle at either the Dorval airport or a downtown location.
