DAY 01
Upon your arrival in Whitehorse you will be met by a local guide and transferred
(included) to your hotel . Upon arrival at your hotel, your winter
clothing will be delivered to you so that you can suit-up, (winter clothing
included) and join the Aurora Tour. Guests will be taken to a beautiful log
cabin at the viewing point. While waiting for the Aurora to appear, guests may
watch videos, listen to music or play games. Also included are treats and hot
beverages. Overnight in Whitehorse.
DAY 02
Today enjoy a three hour sightseeing tour of the local attractions and historic
sites in Whitehorse. This evening, return to the viewing site to see the
Northern Lights, a striking natural occurrence in the Canadian North. Normally
there are curtains of white, blue, and green light in this natural light show.
They may also form a corona and seem to burst. Your guide will also be able to
tell you some of the Inuit folk tales and scientific facts that are associated
with this spectacle. Treats and hot beverages are once again included. Overnight
in Whitehorse.
DAY 03
Today is a free day in Whitehorse. Tonight is your final night to view the
Aurora Borealis. Treats and beverages are included. Overnight in Whitehorse.
DAY 04
This morning you will be transferred by van to the Whitehorse airport
(included).
