The "scenic route" between Edmonton and Calgary - via the Rocky Mountains!
Starting from Edmonton, you'll hop VIA Rail's westbound "Canadian" to Jasper.
Tour the fabulous Icefields Parkway (complete with a Inbound Holiday's Snocoach ride on
the Athabasca Glacier) and top it off with an overnight and touring in Banff
before completing your mountain adventure in Calgary.
Note: There are two versions of this package, three and five days. The shorter
version features one night each in Jasper and Banff.

driver/guide, and baggage handling at all hotels.
DAY 01
Depart this morning from Edmonton on VIA Rail (coach seating - lunch not
included) for Jasper in the Rocky Mountains. Upon arrival at the Jasper
train station in the afternoon, transfer to your hotel (transfer
included). Overnight in Jasper.
DAY 02
Your introduction to Jasper will encompass some outstanding scenery including
Medicine Lake and Maligne Canyon. Continue on your way to Maligne Lake and board
the tour boat to begin your 90 minute cruise (operates June 1 - September 30
only). Return to Jasper where the remainder of your day is at leisure.
Overnight in Jasper.
DAY 03
Travel south on the Icefield Parkway with time for a Snocoach ride on the
Athabasca Glacier at the Columbia Icefield (included April 15 - October 15
only). Then on to famous Lake Louise for a brief stop, with a late afternoon
arrival in Banff. Overnight in Banff.
DAY 04
Take a morning "Discover Banff" sightseeing tour with a visit to the Cave &
Basin National Historic Site (included). The final stop will be at the
Banff Gondola where the gondola car ride is included. The afternoon is free to
explore at your leisure. Overnight in Banff.
DAY 05
Choose a morning or afternoon transfer to either the Calgary International
Airport or Calgary city centre to complete your tour.
