with Inbound Holiday's high standards. You'll begin in lovely Halifax, you'll travel
through picturesque Nova Scotia and Cape Breton Island to take a ferry to
Newfoundland. Once on "The Rock," as Newfoundland is affectionately known, your
trip includes Gros Morne National Park, the stunning scenery of Notre Dame Bay,
sightseeing in historic St. John's, and ferry passage back to Halifax - the
perfect Maritime package!

8 nights accommodation, Halifax, Corner Brook, Grand Falls, St. John's, North

DAY 01
Upon arrival in Halifax, transfer independently to your downtown hotel
(transfer not included). Overnight Halifax.
DAY 02
Become acquainted with your tour director and travel companions as you depart
for Newfoundland. At North Sydney you will board a Marine Atlantic Ferry for a
relaxing crossing to Port aux Basques, your port of entry on the island of
Newfoundland. A box lunch is included today. (Due to ferry scheduling,
the June 15 departure spends the night in North Sydney and travels by ferry to
Newfoundland on Day 03 with an overnight in Corner Brook.) Overnight in Port Aux
Basques.
DAY 03
After breakfast this morning you will travel along Newfoundland's rocky
coastline. Enjoy an afternoon tour of Corner Brook, the largest city on the west
coast, before checking into your hotel. This evening enjoy a welcome dinner.

DAY 04
Today you will travel through a harsh interior wilderness to discover why Gros
Morne National Park is truly one of the highlights of your tour. It is an
unforgettable experience; some say the scenery is unequalled in eastern Canada.
Arrive in Grand Falls where you will spend two nights. (Breakfast and lunch
included)
DAY 05
A scenic drive along the rocky coast of the Notre Dame Bay leads to the
beautiful outport of Twillingate. Return to Grand Falls and learn the life of
the Atlantic Salmon and view them through the underwater viewing windows at the
Salmonid Interpretation Centre. (Lunch and dinner included)
DAY 06
After breakfast, head out on the Trans-Canada Highway to visit Terra Nova
National Park. Arrive in St. John's where you will spend two nights.

DAY 07
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy an intriguing tour of the old seaport city of St.
John's. Drive to Bay Bulls for one of the highlights of your trip, a boat tour
to the bird sanctuary (weather permitting). Tours in June and July get a bonus,
it is the season for whales! Return to St. John's and your hotel. This evening
enjoy a farewell dinner. (Breakfast and dinner included)
DAY 08
After a continental breakfast, an early morning departure takes you to Argentia,
once a French settlement. Today set out on an ocean voyage aboard the MV Joseph
and Clara Smallwood, crossing to North Sydney, Nova Scotia. (Continental
breakfast included). Overnight North Sydney.
DAY 09
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning you will follow the quiet shores of the
Bras d'Or Lake, then the mainland highway leads to Halifax, where the tour ends
at about 5:00pm. Post nights can be booked in addition to the tour.
