DAY 01
Your tour begins with an evening departure from Vancouver on VIA Rail's "Silver
& Blue" service, with Dome and classic dining car (dinner included).
Overnight onboard VIA Rail. (Transfer to VIA Rail Station is on your
own).
DAY 02
In the early morning you will enter the Canadian Rockies, travelling in daylight
to the resort town of Jasper. Winding through the Yellowhead Pass, view Mt.
Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Arrive in Jasper in
mid-afternoon to begin a 2 night stay. Overnight in Jasper.
DAY 03
A morning "Discover Jasper" tour takes you to Medicine Lake and Maligne Canyon.
Continue on your way to Maligne Lake to board a tour boat for a 90 minute
cruise. The rest of the afternoon is free to shop and explore. Overnight in
Jasper.
DAY 04
Tour the Icefields Parkway to the Columbia Icefield. Enjoy a Snocoach ride on
the Athabasca Glacier (included in price April 15 - October 15). In the
afternoon continue along the Icefields Parkway to beautiful Banff. Overnight in
Banff.
DAY 05
This morning, take the informative "Discover Banff" tour with a visit to the
Cave & Basin National Historic Site. In the afternoon, transfer to Lake
Louise for time to explore and enjoy this fabulous setting. Overnight in Lake
Louise.
DAY 06
This morning, venture westward though the Canadian Rockies travelling over the
Kicking Horse Pass and the Continental Divide to reach Revelstoke by lunchtime.
After your meal stop (included), your travels continue west into the
interior of British Columbia. An evening buffet at the peaceful Lac Le Jeune
Resort will await your arrival (included). Overnight in Lac Le Jeune.
DAY 07
After breakfast (included), today's visits will include the gold rush
site of Hat Creek Ranch and a lunch stop in Lillooet (meal included) before
arriving at Whistler Village resort. After a brief stop in Whistler, continue
onto Vancouver. Arrive in Vancouver by late afternoon. Overnight in Vancouver.
DAY 08
Check-out from your hotel this morning to end your tour.
