Water-wise, this is where the East separates from the West. Meander between Vancouver
and Banff, aboard the two-day, all-daylight Rocky Mountaineer train, and you'll
skirt a rain forest, cross a desert, ride through vast ranchlands and reach
into the very heart of Canada's mountain parks system. Your self-drive rental
car - complete with Discovery Drive freedom itinerary - leads you to the
shores of magnificent emerald green lakes, thundering waterfalls and
awesome mountain views. You'll see, it's even prettier than the photographs.
