Once called New France, the birthplace of kanata is rich in history, culture and
fine Québec cuisine. Pretend it is August 13, 1535 and you are Jacques Cartier
arriving at what is now Québec City. As the only walled city in North America,
it is now a World Heritage Site. Scout the Plains of Abraham and imagine the
great battle between the British and French. Explore quaint villages and tour
the Laurentian Mountains. In Montréal, meander through the historic areas of the
city: the universities, religious buildings and old port facilities. This is a
delightful and distinctively different cultural experience!
