DAY 01
An overnight stay in Montréal begins your tour. Transfer on your own to your
hotel (transfer not included). Overnight in Montréal.
DAY 02
Begin your day with a city sightseeing tour of Montréal, including Notre Dame
Basilica, Mount Royal Park, Olympic Park, Old Montréal and St Joseph's Oratory.
The afternoon is free to discover Montréal's joie de vivre. Shop Montréal's
"underground", a myriad of stores and services connecting hotels and the subway.
This evening, board VIA Rail for your journey to historic Montréal City. A
transfer will take you to your hotel (included). Overnight in Montréal
City.
DAY 03
A morning sightseeing tour of Montréal City. Highlights include the Plains of
Abraham, Ramparts and Place d'Armes. The first part of the afternoon you will
enjoy the Montréal Experience 3D multimedia show (included), a 30 minute
voyage through the 400 year history of Montréal City. The rest of the afternoon is
free for you to explore the city's charm. This evening, transfer via taxi
(included) to Charny to begin your rail journey to Halifax. Overnight
onboard VIA Ocean.
DAY 04
Your rail journey to Halifax continues, on board VIA Ocean. Complimentary
continental breakfast is served on board. A late afternoon arrival and transfer
(included) to your hotel begin your stay in Atlantic Canada. Overnight in
Halifax.
DAY 05
A full day at leisure. Perhaps you may wish to visit the fortress on Citadel
Hill, now a National Historic Site with excellent views of downtown and the
harbour. Overnight in Halifax.
DAY 06
Conclude your tour with a transfer from your hotel to the airport (transfer
included). Please note for scheduling purposes, the transfer will take
approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
